Hyundai will be offering a ‘hot hatch’, the i30N.

The hot hatch will have a 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo engine producing 202kW and 353nM. Hyundai claim the car can do the 0 to 100km sprint in 6.2 seconds.

The i30N will include a lot of equipment such as active variable exhaust, an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential, launch control, 19-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero HN tyres, LED headlights and tail-lights with LED daytime-running lights, automatic headlights, a rear view camera and tyre pressure monitoring. On the inside it offers cloth-trimmed front sports seats, four-way driver’s power lumbar adjustment, a leather steering wheel, one-touch up/down windows all round, dual-zone climate control, an 8.0-inch satellite navigation system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with alloy sports pedals.

In addition to 7 airbags the i30N will have Hyundai SmartSense package. This package includes autonomous emergency breaking, driver attention alert, forward collision warning and lane-keep assist.

In addition to the base model customers can upgrade to the luxury pack which includes front parking sensors, power-folding exterior mirrors, solar control windscreen glass, 12-way power front seat adjustment with driver memory function, upgraded front seats with leather bolsters and suede inserts, smart key with push-button start, wireless smartphone charging, privacy glass, heated front seats and steering wheel, along with an electrochromic rear-view mirror.
