Ferrari is now offering the Portofino in Australia.

The Portofino was based on the California T but is basically a new car.

It is powered by 3.9L turbocharged V8 producing 441kW and 760Nm. This beast of an engine can do the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.5 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 320 km/h. The car has 46/54 front/rear weight distribution.

In comparison to the California T, the Portofino is 80kg lighter and 30 per cent more rigid due to a new aluminium structure. It also has a new chassis including stiffer SCM 3 springs for a more direct, sportier feel. The car is still a hardtop convertible. The Portofino will be the first Ferrari GT to use electronic power steering.

The interior is beautiful and includes a 10.2 inch HD touchscreen. The front seats have 18 way electronic adjustment and 6 air cushions for maximum comfort. The seats are 20% lighter than before due to the use of a magnesium structure.
